STEcoMed2026 - održivi mediteranski ekosustavi u fokusu međunarodnog kongresa u Splitu
Sveučilište u Splitu i Fakultet znanosti o moru organiziraju 2nd International Congress for Sustainable Ecosystems in the Mediterranean Area - STEcoMed2026, koji će se održati 22. i 23. listopada 2026. godine u Splitu, u prostorima Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences - MedILS.
STEcoMed2026 okupit će znanstvenike, stručnjake i predstavnike gospodarstva radi razmjene znanja i iskustava o aktualnim izazovima održivog razvoja mediteranske regije. Poseban naglasak stavljen je na povezanost plavih, zelenih i turističkih sustava, zaštitu okoliša i otpornost obalnih područja.
Program kongresa obuhvaća teme iz područja ribarstva, akvakulture i onečišćenja mora, klimatskih promjena, bioraznolikosti, zaštite okoliša i gospodarenja otpadom, poljoprivredno-prehrambenog sektora, turizma te digitalizacije u agronomiji i proizvodnji hrane. Predviđena su plenarna i pozvana predavanja, usmena i kratka usmena izlaganja te posterske prezentacije. Bit će organizirana i posebna sekcija za predstavljanje i diseminaciju projekata.

STEcoMed2026 - International Congress on Sustainable Mediterranean Ecosystems in Split
The University of Split and the Faculty of Marine Sciences are organizing the 2nd International Congress for Sustainable Ecosystems in the Mediterranean Area - STEcoMed2026, which will take place on 22-23 October 2026 in Split, Croatia, at the Mediterranean Institute for Life Sciences - MedILS.
STEcoMed2026 will bring together scientists, professionals and representatives from academia and industry to exchange knowledge and discuss current challenges related to the sustainable development of the Mediterranean region. Special emphasis will be placed on the interaction between blue, green and tourism systems, environmental protection and coastal resilience.
The Congress will cover a broad range of topics, including fisheries, aquaculture and marine pollution, climate change, biodiversity, environmental protection and waste management, the agro-food sector, tourism, and digitalization in agronomy and food production.
The scientific programme will include plenary and invited lectures, oral and short oral presentations, as well as poster presentations. A special session dedicated to project presentation and dissemination will also be organized.
