Mission and vission

The mission of the Faculty of Marine Sciences is to conduct and continuously improve scientific work in applied and basic sciences related to marine research. The mission of the Faculty will be achieved by increasing the efficiency of the educational and scientific research process, by connecting educational, scientific research and professional activities, and by actively cooperating with scientific, higher education and economic partners in the Republic of Croatia and abroad with the aim of achieving high world standards in all the above segments.

The vision of the Faculty of Marine Sciences is to direct itself towards the formation of an educational and scientific research center of excellence and recognition in marine research. The Faculty will coordinate its teaching activities with scientific research and professional work with the constant transfer of knowledge and research results and cooperation with the economy in the service of the development of the entire region. The Faculty will strongly encourage the mobility of its students and employees in order to modernize knowledge and ensure the highest quality scientific and professional staff
